Despite the fact that all our products are custom made-to-order and fall outside the online purchase return legislation, we voluntarily offer the following:
Purchasing a handmade shoe or boot without trying it first can be nerve-racking. But we believe it doesn’t have to be: Future Is Retro accepts return and exchanges of any shoe or any boot in new condition due to sizing issues.
Buy with Confidence: Fit concerns? We can exchange them.
We of course accept returns due to quality control issues. Currently, our returns are less than 0.2%.

General Returns and Refunds
RETURNS

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at hayati@futureisretro.com. Please note that returns will not need to be sent to the following address:

but will instead be sent to our warehouse. Please do not send returns to the above address.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note that if your country of residence is not United Kingdom, shipping your goods may take longer than expected.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.
Certain types of items cannot be returned unless the item is damaged or faulty. This includes custom product orders for footwear. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 3-day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 3 days for any reason and without justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

We know our customers really love our products, but we understand that for various reasons, sometimes it isn't quite right, so we will do our best to address any concerns you may have. We will replace without question any issues that may escape our attention when it comes to print quality (less than 0.2% of all orders).
Taxes
Please be advised, we cannot calculate taxes and duties that may apply in your region. Much like every other business that you would purchase from online, taxes and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Shipping timeframes
All of our products are custom made-to-order. This isn't 'fast fashion'. We believe that fast fashion causes environmental harm, through the disposal and overuse of chemicals and materials to produce unwanted items. Therefore, we minimise this by minimising stock on hand, and producing items as, and when, clients request them.
We use several partners to send our product to you, depending on your location and the product ordered. Every item has its own production timeframe and delivery timeframe, so please check the description for the average time per item.
Items that are sublimated (usually our all over print items) take between 5-9 days for production for the ink to infuse with the fibres.
For the construction of our premium footwear, we have a 'Fastlane' production process which takes about 7 working days, then about 3-7 working days dependent upon shipping address. Anything not listed as 'Fastlane' for premium footwear will take between 4-6 weeks to produce your custom, made-to-order footwear and the same shipping timeframe.
Products made in our London Office will take approximately 3 business days to produce, and will ship via express courier. These items are normally received with 4 working days anywhere in the world.
Some items require further attention to detail, and any extension to this time will be listed in the item description. We supply full tracking information and ship every item via express shipping.
