The image on these custom sneakers is taken from a kimono that was created in the 18th Century and is currently in the collection at The Metropolitan Museum Of Art. The image is digitised from a high-resolution image of the garment and dyed into leather. Featuring a stitched sole (not glued) these custom hi-tops are created and designed by people who love sneakers so you can be sure these will stay looking good for years to come.

Based on a real Kimono held in one of the world's greatest museums, this artwork was digitised from the original from the 17th Century and recreated on real leather. This image is printed directly to the leather. What appears to be some pixelation from the image is actually the same image design from the original images, as these kimonos are of course embroidery which has a particular level of accuracy, or pixel size in effect, of the width of the cotton.
